Did you know that prior to the 1800's that fireworks were only orange flash and sparks from black powder and white sparks from metal powders. But, in the 1800's it was discovered that adding different items could produce different colors. Some of those items are: sodium that flares yellow, barium that glows green, copper that makes blue and strontium that burns red.

Now the next time that you see a fireworks show you will know what metals they used to make those wonderful colors.

Christmas and Holiday Cheating Spouse Signs

Do you have a “gut” feeling or nagging sensation that your spouse may be unfaithful? Did you know that the holidays, especially Christmas may be a good time of the year to confirm your suspicions.
Since the lovers see this as a special time, they want to show their love for one another with a special gift. When they buy a gift for one another, they are special signs of their affection and can be costly.

3. Be sure to check to see if your spouse has hidden any gifts. One good hiding place is in their vehicle. If you find the gift, do not arouse their suspicions. Leave it there and see if they give that gift to you. Better yet, take a photograph of the item in case you need it to refresh their memory.
4. Did your spouse receive a gift that was personal or suggestive from a co-worker?
5. Any unexplained absences or starting a fight so they can stay away for an extended time?
6. Does your spouse encourage you to visit relatives without them?
7. Does your spouse go shopping for an extended period of time and come home empty handed?

Families of missing people from the Bossier area are hoping to heat up the search for their loved ones who have been missing for years. Darrell Wells has been missing for seven years, he was last seen the day after Christmas, leaving his parents house, in a red and primer colored pick up truck. "It seems like nothing is getting done," complains sister, Lacey Blair. She and her family have not given up hope. "I hope we can find him so my parents can have closure, if he is still alive he has a niece and a nephew," says Blair, who has traveled to Bossier City from the Northeast to ask Bossier City Police to re-release the original news release.

And the family of Clinton Nelson, whose been missing since September of 2006, has upped the reward recently. $12,500 is now available, in addition to the original $5000. "The family has come up with their own reward for just the location a verifiable location where Clinton might be," says The Nelson family's private investigator, Robert Weltz. He was hired to help keep the search moving. "It's important to keep that information in front of the public," says Weltz. Both families want the same thing, they want the ones they miss to not be forgotten. "I would like for them to know that there is a family that loves Clinton and wants to know where he's at," says Weltz. And ultimately, they want to be re-united with them.
